C. bovis-Free Mice

Corynebacterium bovis is a contagious, chronic skin disease, often termed “scaly skin disease” and affects nude and immunocompromised mice. Mice identified as C. bovis-free are maintained in strict barrier housing, have regular surveillance (e.g., environmental sampling), and strict bioexclusion protocols to prevent this disease.
